Sting Celebrates its 2d place win at the Fremont Tourney on 9/27/09

Sting played in the Championship round in Mission Valley United's FYSL Hugh Kinnear/Celtic Tournament 2009 over the weekend of September 26-27, 2009, and placed second in the U16 Girls Division after a tough game vs. Mustang Fury.

Sting tied 1-1 against 93 MVU Girls Black in its first game on Saturday, 9/27/09. Sting's afternoon game vs. San Ramon Argenta resulted in a 2-0 win for Sting.

Sunday morning Sting celebrated a decisive victory over Auburn Rage, with a 3-0 score. These results led to the top point score in Sting's bracket, and a matchup in the championship round on Sunday afternoon vs. the Mustang Fury.

A tough game resulted in Mustang's victory over Sting, with a 3-0 score. Overall, a 2nd place finish in an excellent tournament!
