Alpine FC Coaches Garner Post-Season Honors

Alpine FC DOC Owen Flannery, BU9 Hawks' coach Jan Eric Nordmo and Alpine After School Program founder Ruedi Graf are honored for their fall college seasons.

Owen Flannery's Foothill College women's soccer team improved on last years historic season by finishing with 17 wins 4 loses and 2 ties. They also won the league championship for the second straight year with a perfect 12 and 0 record. The team won 3 of the league's top 5 individual awards: League MVP, Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP. The team is ranked 7th in Northern California -- its hightest ranking ever.

Jan Eric Nordmo, coach of our BU9 Hawks, was honored with Coach of the Year for the Coast Conference South Division. He rebuilt the  Ohlone College men's soccer team which finished 11 wins and 9 loses. This was their first winning season in many years; they tripled their wins from last season.

Ruedi Graf, who runs Alpine FC After School Program and some of our Summer camps, was honored with Coach of the Year for the Coast Conference North Division. He turned his program around and almost doubled last years winning record; in 2009 his Canada Collge men finished with 15 wins 4 losses and 3 ties.
