What is up DOC, Summer update for Alpine FC from the Director

I am very excited about our growing club!  We have excellent summer camp options so that you can improve and have fun out on the soccer field in the summer sun!  This 2010 Summer is coming closer, and the best part about it is.............it is a WORLD CUP summer!  This is the best time of year every 4 years!

Alpine FC is proud to announce the following summer camps, clinics and sessions this World Cup summer:

Frans Hoek Summer Camp, June 20-June 24 
Frans Hoek is world renown youth soccer expert, having worked as the Academy Director at AJAX Amsterdam, and FC Barcelona.  Hoek has also served on the technical staff and coaching staff of various National teams, the most recent being Poland.  Frans and his professional Dutch Staff will conduct a week-long, technical development camp for Alpine FC and MP Strikers.  Click here for more information.  Click here to read and download the official flyer.

Speed, Agility, and Fitness Camp with Ty Blair July 5-July 8
Ty specializes in the development of reaction time, acceleration, agility, max velocity, power, strength, coordination, mechanics, body management, and flexibility.  This camp will take place at Woodside Elementary School.  Ty, US National B Licensed coach and Kinesiology expert, has been on the staff of 3 State Cup titles, and a National youth soccer title with De Anza Force 92 Girls Blue team.  Click here for more detailed information and registration.

Alpine Ants Preschool with Wayne Kania July 16-September 3
he goal of the Alpine Ants Preschool Class is to develop coordination, concentration, basic skills and body control in a fun environment.  Please feel free to email coach Wayne Kania with any questions or suggestions!

Classes run for 45 minutes on Fridays from 1:45-2:30 at Barkley Field.  To register, see the "online registration" tab and choose Alpine Ants Preschool.

World Cup Soccer Camps July 19-July 23
Ruedi Graf and his staff at World Cup Soccer Camps will be conducting a great half-day or full-day camp at Barkley Field for all ages exclusive to Alpine FC and AYSO Region 25 with a $30 discount.  Click here for more information on this specific camp, and additional local options.

Futbol Abroad Camp with Juan Porras August 2-August 6
Alpine FC and Futbol Abroad are pleased to announce this fun 5 day camp at Barkley Field!  This Pro Clinic will be open to U8-U19 players, and will give players the opportunity to train with some of the most talented professional coaches from Argentina.  Click herefor more information.
