Governance Model:
We are an educational organization and strive to operate in a manner similar to your child's school.

Principal Director of Coaching
School Board Board of Directors

The parents in a school do not set the calendar or curriculum, nor do they set the salary or job discription for the classroom teacher.  Parents in a school are expected to communicate with the teacher regarding their own child's well-being, to volunteer to help wherever possible in the school, and to communicate with the Principal and Board on issues of curriculum or staffing.  At Alpine FC, we hope for this same type of parent-coach-club relationship

Parent Volunteers
Alpine FC is a volunteer-run organization in which every team is expected to contribute time to the club.  All club-wide services (registration, field scheduling, referee assigning, uniforms, club-wide events) are organized by volunteers.  Each team manager is expected to attend the monthly club-wide meetings which are open to the entire membership; the meeting schedule is posted on the master schedule of this website and minutes are available from the Secretary.  Managers and coaches are approved by the Board each season.

The Board is elected annually in May (each team in good standing has one vote); nominations for Board positions may be sent to the Secretary.  The Board also meets monthly, usually in conjuction with the Club meeting.

Each team is expected to provide at least two volunteers for club tasks.
Thank you for your help; we couldn't exist without you!
